Clock #1102 Cincinnati Time Recorder Co., Cincinnati, Ohio Cincinnati Time Recorder Co., Cincinnati, Ohio. This timeclock has been electrified, and is in "as found" condition. Perhaps someone will find it usable for parts. The case is solid oak, and you can see that it is missing the bottom front panel. The hands, dial and the wood surround are replacements. The two winding arbors of the upper movement and the connecting rod to the lower movement have been removed. There is no pendulum. It does have the lower movement which I assume is complete. This clock is running. 30" tall. Cincinnati Time Recorder Co., Cincinnati, Ohio - closeup / closeup2 /

It has a solid oak case which has been refinished and appears to be complete, without damages. The door glass has some scratch marks around the edges, probably from when the case was refinished. It has a good signed dial and the original hands. There is no pendulum and the upper movement winding arbors have been removed. It does have the lower movement which I assume is complete. The clock is running. 35" tall. Cincinnati Time Recorder Co., Cincinnati, Ohio - closeup / order - $120. |

Clock #1059 Detex watchman's time clock. The purpose of this clock was to keep a record of the stops and times as a watchman made his rounds. The watchman had a special key which had a number (in this case "6") and that key punched the number onto a circular paper which recorded the time. When these clocks are found they almost never have the original keys but this one does. The case is leather covered and it has a view of the dial through a nickeled frame. It comes with the carrying strap and a box of about 100 extra recording papers. It is an eight-day timepiece and is in good running order. 6 inches in diameter.

Clock #1060 Yale bank or vault timer. This is a very high quality, high precision piece of machinery. I believe it was used to control the opening time of a bank vault. There are three porcelain dials which are signed "Yale & Towne Mfg. Co. Stamford, Conn. U.S.A." There is one winding arbor for each dial and each mechanism runs for 72 hours. Each click of the key as you wind each movement represents 15 minutes. I assume that the mechanism unlocks the vault when all three dials read zero. Thus you can time the opening of the vault to within 15 minutes. This is all housed in an extremely solid steel case which has no damages or alterations. All three mechanisms are running properly and they have beautifully damascened plates. This timer comes with both original keys. It measures 6 inches long.

Watch #1061 Walnut clock shelf. This item might come in
handy for a particular clock or other related item. It is a solid
walnut shelf dating from about 1870 or '80, about the same time as
many Victorian parlor clocks were made. There are no cracks, chips
or damages. The shelf portion measures about 9 inches wide and 5 inches
deep which would be adequate for a cottage clock, novelty clock or
something similar. The overall length is 15 1/2 inches. order - SOLD |
