Clock #7082 New Hampshire Mirror clock Door only. This is a true period mirror clock door and not simply a mirror which
was converted. It is the only one I have ever found. Black and gold columns with the original mustard yellow base paint
on the front and back. The gold on the columns has been painted over
but often the original gold survives well when that paint is removed.
The four pressed brass corner rosettes are original. The upper glass
has been poorly repainted on what is probably the original glass.
The mirror is a replacement. There are the original hinge marks on the right side. 29 ½" tall and 14" wide. New Hampshire Mirror Clock Door closeup / order - $195. |

Clock Wheel cutting engine #6175 Early nineteenth century European clockmaker's wheel cutting engine. From the collection of Dennis Thorold, a well known British collector of quality tools and machinery. I am selling this for a friend so my description may be lacking but if you call or email I will get the correct information to you. The indicator wheel is just over 10" in diameter and has 12 indication rings ranging from 200 to 360. There is only one cutter with the machine and the maximum distance from the cutter to the spindle is about 2 ½". This engine would have been driven with a foot pedal using a pulley and belt. It has a maximum height of 11 ½" and the bed is 11 ½" long. closeup / closeup1 / closeup2 / closeup3 / closeup4 / closeup5 / closeup6 / order - $2,500. |

Watch Sign #6066 This is a great, hard to find item in near perfect
condition. The front is made of thick glass with a scalloped edge
and it is attached to a tin frame with a stand so it can sit on a
desk, in a shop window or wherever. The background color is black and the lettering is done with silver and gold foil with mother of pearl so it catches the light and sparkles to grab attention which was probably the intent. I see no damages, chips or faults of any kind. It is 5" tall and 14" wide. It would make a great gift. Watch Sign / Watch Sign Closeup / order - $145. |
