Clock #1055 French carriage style alarm clock French carriage style alarm clock. The case is nickel plated over brass and that plating shows a fair amount of wear. The paper dial is signed "Sonnerie Repetition." It is in very good condition and is surrounded by brass frame. One of the side glasses is missing. The button on the top of the case is for the strike repeat. This is a one-day clock with strike plus alarm and it is running though the movement has not been cleaned in quite some time. 8 inches tall with the handle. Clock #1057 German miniature porcelain wall clock German miniature porcelain wall clock. At only 9 inches tall, this is one of the smallest pendulum wall clocks that you will find. It has a great looking white porcelain front with blue trim. It is signed "8 Day, Germany" and has the original hands and pendulum. The metal rear portion of the case has been painted silver. Clock #97085 This particular clock was sold but I have others which are very similar. Lux produced many models on this
theme. Some have eyes that move, some wag their tails etc. and some
of the rare ones have become fairly valuable. In this model the case is made
to look like a cuckoo clock and the bird bobs in and out of the door
as the pendulum swings. Over the years I have gathered several of
the two models shown here so you can purchase more than one if you

Clock #97086 This particular clock was sold but I have others which are very similar. Lux Bluebird bobbing clock. These cute little
clocks have a composite case with pressed in designs. Various parts
of the case are painted. This one has a colored bluebird dipping into
and out of the nest feeding her little ones. The bird is attached
to the pendulum so as it swings she bobs back and forth. These are thirty hour timepieces key wound from the front. This one is 6" tall overall and it is running. Lux Bobbing Bird Clock closeup / order - $45. |

Clock #9140 United electric animated ballerina clock. United electric animated ballerina clock. The ballerina is in costume and she rotates in the lighted chamber with three mirrors behind her. Clock #1056 None Such Mince Meat Pie advertising clock None Such Mince Meat Pie advertising clock. This is a great advertising clock and it is in quite good condition. The dial is printed on paper to resemble the top of a pie. The numerals are a bit irregular and I cannot tell if they were overpainted or if that is simply their style. The hands appear to be the originals. The clock runs a few minutes for me, then stops but the escapement sounds fine. It measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Clock #1058 Sessions miniature wall clock. This is really quite a nice clock. The case is solid figured walnut with carved and gilded trim. The condition is excellent and there are no chips or damages. It has a signed silvered dial with good crisp numerals. It is an eight-day timepiece and it is in good running order. 9 1/2 inches tall.
