L. & F. Andrews, Bristol, Conn. Ogee clock with a rare Kirk's cast iron backplate movement.

This is a fine example with a beautifully refinished crotch mahogany case, a great colorful heavy zinc dial and an excellent original reverse painting. The label does have some tears but is otherwise legible.

Original hands and pendulum. 30 hour spring driven movement with gong strike. Running.
25 ½" tall.

E. N. Welch, Forrestville, Conn. 8 day ogee.

Mahogany case with a newer finish applied over the old. There is one veneer damage on the bottom front but the rest is quite good. The lion and unicorn reverse painted tablet is fine but for a bit of background flaking at the bottom.

The painted zinc dial does have some color loss. It has a fairly good label plus the original hands, pendulum and weights.29" tall.

New Haven 8 day ogee.

Very nicely refinished case of matched mahogany veneers and in nearly perfect condition. The painted zinc dial is very colorful and without any flaking.

The reverse painted tablet is original and has a scene of "The New Wellington College, Sandhurst, England". The sky portion has been repainted. Only fragments of the label remain. The minute hand is old, but not quite a match. Original weights and pendulum. 30" tall.

Boardman and Wells, Bristol, Conn. 30 hour wood works ogee.

Beveled mahogany case in a darkened original finish. There is some veneer chipping at the corners of the front and door. The gilded wood dial is in very good condition and the label is complete and clearly legible.

Original glass, mirror, hands, pendulum and weights. The movement has not been cleaned in a long time. 26 ½" tall.

Atkins and Porter ogee.

This mahogany case has had the original finish cleaned and polished. There are several veneer losses on the flat portion of the front. Early, heavy zinc dial with colorful blue floral corners. The lower glass is original but clear.

The label is fairly complete but darkly stained. Original hands, pendulum and weights.

Jared Arnold, Jr., Amber, New York triple decker in "as found" condition.

The gentleman who owned this clock took the columns, feet and chimney caps off and misplaced or lost them. If they are ever found I will give them to the buyer of this clock. The mahogany case is missing one section of veneer on the left base and the eagle has been repainted gold.

The reverse painting is a good replacement. The label and gold dial are quite good. Original hands and pendulum. There are no weights. 8 day strap brass movement with pewter winding drums. 37" tall.

Wilson & Dunn, New York, column and cornice clock.

Refinished mahogany case is very clean and has only very minor veneer nicks. It has a very nice original stenciled tablet, a good, colorful dial and a very legible label. It retains the original hands, pendulum and weights.

30 hour brass movement with a gong strike. It is running. 26" tall.
