Clock #1017 Seth Thomas "Sharp Gothic" steeple clock. Seth Thomas "Sharp Gothic" steeple clock. Seth Thomas made very few steeple clocks but the ones that were made were good-looking and of high quality. This one has a very nice, clean mahogany case which is in good condition but for two thin veneer slivers on the bottom of each side. It has an original decorated tablet, a good label and a very nicely repainted dial plus the original hands and pendulum. The solid eight day spring driven movement strikes the hours on a gong and it is in good running order and keeping time. 21" tall. Clock #1019 Sessions miniature steeple clock Sessions miniature steeple clock. This clock has a solid mahogany case which has been cleaned and refinished without any case problems at all. It has a good painted dial plus the original hands and pendulum. The reverse painted tablet is original but flaking. This clock has an eight day spring driven movement with hour and half hour strike on a resonant cathedral gong. It is running and striking properly. 16" tall. Clock #1016 Seth Thomas "Plymouth" pillar and scroll clock Seth Thomas "Plymouth" pillar and scroll clock. Made about 1920, this is the largest model in the series of pillar and scroll clocks that Seth Thomas produced at that time. The mahogany case is very clean and in excellent condition but for a couple of small nicks at the bottom of the left foot. It has wooden finials which are painted gold. The painted dial has a slight amount of paint lifting. It has a good original decorated glass plus the original hands, pendulum and key. With this clock you get the look of a traditional pillar and scroll clock with the convenience of a solid, good quality eight day spring driven movement. Clock #1018 Chauncey Boardman fusee steeple clock Chauncey Boardman fusee steeple clock. The finish needs to be cleaned on this mahogany case. The finials tips are near perfect and the veneer is largely in good condition but for some chipping near the door latch area. The original painted tablet of Melrose Abbey has a bit of flaking and the dial is a replacement. The label has a torn spot but it is all legible. The hands are original and the pendulum is a replacement. The movement is signed and patent dated 1847. This 30 hour clock has a gong strike and it is running. 20" tall. This is a cute little clock with a solid mahogany case which is in excellent clean condition with a very nicely painted dial and a good reverse decorated glass. Clock #1021 Jerome & Co. miniature steeple clock Jerome & Co. miniature steeple clock. This is a fine looking little clock in great condition from the finials to the finish. It has a very nice mahogany case with perfect veneer, a great painted tablet of cherries and a butterfly, a near-perfect painted dial and an exceptional label. The hands, pendulum and key are the originals. This is a 30 hour timepiece with alarm and it is in good running order. Only 14 1/2" tall. Clock #1022 Seth Thomas Sonora Chime clock Seth Thomas Sonora Chime clock. This is a handsome, fine looking clock in excellent condition. Straight from a home where it was well taken care of for many years. The solid oak case is in great shape with the original finish. This is the deluxe model with the signed 7 ½" porcelain dial with the "chime-silent" opening. It is in excellent condition but for some small flakes around the winding arbor holes. This model has the heavy cast brass bezel with a convex beveled glass. It retains the original hands, pendulum and key. It is in good running and chiming order, playing Westminster chimes on each quarter hour on four resonant bells. At 17 inches tall it is one of the larger and more impressive models. Clock #1023 Seth Thomas "Dayton" clock. This is one of the many models in the City Series and one of the harder examples to find. It is better than average in that it has a solid cherry case which is clean and polished. It has a replacement paper dial pasted over the original painted dial. There is an excellent label plus the original hands and pendulum. This clock strikes the hours on a resonant cathedral gong and it is in good running order. 16" tall.
