Clock #8033

Ansonia "Regent" clock.

A large and impressive clock. The case was repainted gold many years ago. I looked it over carefully and did not find any broken or missing pieces. This model has the extra fancy dial with separate blue porcelain numerals and serpents at the open escapement. It has a cast brass bezel with a heavily beveled glass.

Original brass hands, pendulum and key. This is an 8 day model with hour and half hour strike on a cathedral gong and it is running. 22" tall.

Clock #7056

400 day disc pendulum Crystal Regulator Clock

This clock was in storage for many years and the case needs a good cleaning but there are no case dents or other damages`. The 4 beveled glasses are just about perfect but for one tiny corner flake in the rear glass.

The porcelain dial is perfect with no hairlines or chips. Original hands and pendulum with no dents or damages.

The movement is not signed but has a serial number of 1288. It has not been serviced in many years but it does tick properly, it just does not stay running.
11" tall.

Clock #8039

Ingraham mantle clock.

. Black case with green marbleized columns and cast metal trim. There are no missing pieces or damaged areas. The case is simply dusty and a quick cleaning would help.

The signed dial has yellowed a bit but it is all clear and legible. Original hands and pendulum plus a good label. 8 day with gong strike and it is running. 12 ½" tall, 17" wide.

Clock #6051

Seth Thomas "Empire No. 13" crystal regulator clock.

This clock is in quite good condition. The gilded case shows only normal gilt loss from polishing. All four beveled glasses and the signed porcelain dial are perfect without any hairlines or chips.

It has the original hands and mercury style pendulum. 8 day with hour and half hour strike on a cathedral gong. It is running and striking but the strike will hang up at 12:30 so it will need a small adjustment. 12" tall.

Clock #8034

Ansonia "Huntress" swinging arm clock.

This clock is complete with no damages, missing pieces or repairs/replacement parts. The statue has her original aged bronze finish which is in good shape but for some wear on her arm.

The swing portion has the correct ribbon, hands, and other trim including the suspension spring blocks where the springs and all seem to be original and functioning well.

The two spheres have lost most of the original bluing which can be seen when the back cover is removed.

The movement is signed and has the Ansonia logo. The mainspring is either broken or off of the catch. With finger pressure on the train it ticks properly and the escapement looks fine. This is an 8 day timepiece. 24 ½" tall overall.

Clock part #8069

Ansonia Swinger "Arm" or clock portion.

If you have a swinger statue then this may be what you need to finish your clock. The canister is in good condtion with no splits in the back. The signed 3 1/2" dial is very good with no discoloration and it has the orginal beveled glass. The ribbon has not been broken and the suspension is original and complete. The only fault is the missing pointer on the very bottom. The hands are original.

The eight day movement is ticking but I have not put it on a statue to try running it. 19" tall overall.

Clock #8035

Ansonia "Roy" crystal regulator clock.

Pleasing bow front style to the base, top and door. The finish is original but it shows some wear and would benefit from a good polishing. All four beveled glasses are perfect.

The porcelain dial is signed "Bigelow, Kennard & Co. Inc. Boston". It is also perfect without any hairlines or chips. It retains the original hands, key and false mercury style pendulum.

The round movement is signed and it is in good running order. 8 day with strike on a resonant cathedral gong. 11" tall.

Clock #8036

French crystal regulator clock.

The finish does not show any significant wear or abrasion but a cleaning would be helpful. All four beveled glasses are perfect, as is the porcelain dial which has a rhinestone surround.

It has the original hands and true mercury pendulum. 8 day with hour and half hour strike on a gong. It ticks and strikes properly but stops after a few minutes so it is overdue for a cleaning. 9 ¼" tall.

Clock #8058

Rare Forestville Hardware and Clock Company porcelain shelf clock.

This clock must have been dropped because there are numerous cracks that have been reglued. However, it is such a rare model that I simply had to have it. Actually, the cracks were so poorly glued that soaking them apart and then doing a proper job would improve the looks a great deal.

It has the original brass bezel. Obviously the painted dial is badly flaking but enough remains to have a correct pattern for the repaint. Note there is a seconds dial at the bottom. The hands are improper replacements.

There is a wood box behind the front and it has the original white paint. The label covers the entire back. It is worn at the bottom but enough is clear so the maker's name is quite visible. This is a 30 hour balance timepiece. It is ticking so the escapement is good but it does not stay running. 9 ½" tall.

Clock #8037

Seth Thomas Adamantine clock.

This case has tan Adamantine on the top and trim. The case is in very good condition without any noticeable dents or damages but just a bit of polishing on the black would make it even better. The feet, columns and lion heads have been gold overprinted.

The brass dial is in good shape, it has the original hands and pendulum, and there is a good label on the back. The case is dated 1891. 8 day with hour and half hour strike and in good running order. 11" tall, 15 ½" wide.
